This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding your data in connection with the SproutCare AI mobile application and web sandbox, operated by UMIGA BV ("we", "us", or "our").

      Data Privacy Standard: We adhere strictly to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) principles, keeping your personal information fully safe and allowing you to withdraw consent at any time.
    

1. Data We Collect and Processing Scopes

To deliver premium botanical care utilities, we collect the following limited data types:

Plant Leaf Photographs: When you scan a leaf to check for pests or disease, we process the captured photo through safe, sandboxed Google Gemini Vision API endpoints to return diagnosis results. These plant photos are exclusively parsed for botanical assessment and are not linked to your personal visual identity.
Approximate Location & Geolocation: We utilize approximate regional coordinates to fetch local weather indices (temperature, humidity, sunshine hours). This is used strictly to calculate customized soil moisture evaporation decay curves. Your exact physical location is never logged or stored.
Camera Permissions: Access to your device camera is required solely to snap plant photos for instant diagnostic scanning. Camera feeds are processed locally on the client or transferred securely for diagnostic computation; we do not stream or record video.
NFC Scanning Data: When logging waterings via NFC, we process the tag identifier to associate the physical action with your digital plant companion record in our Firestore cloud database.

2. Firestore and Data Security

All personal profiles, household rosters, moisture statistics, and plant companion logs (e.g. Monty, Serpent) are kept in secure, access-controlled Firebase Firestore databases. Transactions are fully encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS and at rest.

3. Sharing and Third-Party API Parsing

We do not sell, trade, or distribute your personal information to third parties. We utilize highly secure cloud interfaces (such as Google Firebase and secure AI processing nodes) strictly to operate the diagnostic scanner and sync database logs.

4. Your Data Control Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have full ownership of your data. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or absolute deletion of all records associated with your account.

You can instantly purge your user profile, authentication credentials, greenhouse plant logs, moisture pacing data, and household tenancies by visiting our public Account Deletion Page.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any adjustments by updating the "Last Updated" date on this public page.
